Savor these Horror-less months while you can, TV fans. FX’s anthology screamfest will be back before you know it for a fourth round of thrills and chills. But who will be back for Season 4? The cast hasn’t been officially announced— nor has the theme or even the premiere date — so all we can do is speculate.
We do know that Jessica Lange (Fiona Goode) will play a role. The 64-year-old actress — who has earned an Emmy Award for her work onAHS — announced that she will return for a fourth and final season on the show.
We also have a feeling that Sarah Paulson (Cordelia Foxx), Evan Peters (Kyle Spencer), and Frances Conroy (Myrtle Snow) — all of whom have appeared in every season thus far — won’t hesitate to continue their streak.
Plus, we know co-creator Ryan Murphy wants Kathy Bates (Delphine LaLaurie) and Angela Bassett (Marie Laveau) around for another go-round.
Unfortunately, Lily Rabe (Misty Day) will likely not be available — she’s taking a lead role in the ABC alien drama The Visitors. The show still in the pilot stage, so there’s a chance ABC won’t order it to air, but don’t hold your breath.
We might also see cast members returning to the show after skipping Coven. If CBS cancelsHostages, Dylan McDermott (Murder House’s Ben Harmon) might be available, unless his Kevin Williamson pilot is picked up. Zachary Quinto (Asylum’s Oliver Thredson) could potentially film a part before returning to the Star Trek franchise. Chloë Sevigny (Asylum’s Shelley) has expressed interest in coming back. As for Connie Britton (Murder House’s Vivien Harmon), well, we might prefer to see Nashville renewed than to have her return to the show — but here’s hoping she can pull double-duty!

If there’s one thing that’s safe to assume while watching an episode of American Horror Story: Coven, it’s that no character, no matter how major, is safe from the long, bony arm of the grim reaper forever.
We’ve already seen plenty of guts and gore so far this season, with the untimely deaths and subsequent reanimations of Kyle (Evan Peters), Madison (Emma Roberts), and Misty (Lily Rabe) — and the seemingly permanent demises of Fiona (Jessica Lange), Delphine (Kathy Bates), and Marie (Angela Bassett).
Still, with the finale coming up next week — Episode 13, “The Seven Wonders,” airing January 29 — we fully expect more main characters to go six feet under without returning.
But who’s it gonna be? Fiona warned Queenie that the Robichaux witches who aspire to the Supreme-ship would either pass the Seven Wonders or die trying — which seems like pretty leaden foreshadowing. We take it this test will literally kill one or more of the students. (We bet high schoolers taking SATs aren’t feeling so bad for themselves now.)
Also, Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) has a history of self-sacrifice and undying protectiveness of Robichaux, which makes us think that she could fatally imperil herself to save the coven.
As for Kyle, it looks like he brutally attacks his girlfriend, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), in the season finale. Is a rising witch as powerful as Zoe is take such an affront lying down? We think not.

“American Horror Story” fans are already wondering what next season will bring, could it be a circus theme?
“American Horror Story: Coven” returns this week, but fans are already speculating about what next season will be about. Will a circus be involved?
A circus would most definitely be a creepy addition to the “AHS” family. We’ve already had a murder house, asylum, and now coven, will fans get to see some circus freaks next?
Ryan Murphy is staying pretty quiet about the next season. However, he has said he’d love to get Reese Witherspoon involved in the show, but her schedule is always so busy. We’re also hoping that Emma Roberts will return, and now that she’s engaged to series staple Evan Peters that seems more likely than ever!

Emma and Evan may have yet to publicly discuss their supposed engagement, but that hasn’t stopped one famous friend from spreading the happy news.
“Congrats to @RobertsEmma and Evan Peters for getting engaged,” actor and celebrity photographer Tyler Shields tweeted January 6.
He also shared a dramatic photo of the couple with Emma mid-flight and Evan standing by to catch her. “It’s important to marry someone who is there to catch you when you fall,” he quipped.
Original story (January 6, 2014):
Emma Roberts and Evan Peters decided to ring in the New Year with an actual ring. The 22-year-old actress (and niece of Julia Roberts) and her 26-year-old boyfriend are engaged, according to Extra.
Evan reportedly got down on one knee while the couple were celebrating the holidays in New York City. Emma said “yes” and the couple (along with her new diamond ring!) flew to London for New Year’s. No details yet on when or where they plan to tie the knot.
The American Horror Story co-stars began dating in 2012 and seemed to have one of Hollywood’s sweetest romances until last summer. In early July the pair made headlines after a heated dispute in a Montreal hotel that ended in Emma’s arrest.
The July 7 fight left the actress with bruises on her legs while Evan reportedly had a bloody nose and bite mark. Emma spent the night in jail; she was released after Evan declined to press charges.
“It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding,” the couple’s reps said at the time of the altercation. “Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.”
And boy, have they seemed to move past it…
What do you make of the news? Think they should give it more time, or was July just an isolated incident? Share your feels (and wedding suggestions!) in the comments.
